Composting Site
The City of Bowling Green provides free composting for City residents. Bowling Green residents are encouraged to bring their yard waste, limbs, grass clippings, stumps and garden waste to the city composting site located at 13703 Business Hwy 54W (just beyond the animal shelter and City Lagoon). Sorry, logs, lumber and trash are prohibited. Residents should discharge their waste only in designated areas.
Hours of operation are Wednesdays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm from April 1st through November 30th. For more information contact City Hall at (573) 324-5451.
