The County Courthouse, Champ Clark statue, and three-part War Memorial highlights Bowling Green's Town Square. The War Memorial is the result of a community-wide effort to recognize county residents who served in the armed forces during World Wars I & II, the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam War, and the Desert Storm Conflict. Approximately 1,300 veteran's names are included on the stones with recognition of those missing, killed or wounded in action. The Memorial was dedicated on July 4, 1992.

There are also several locally owned businesses located on and directly off of the Bowling Green Town Square including banks, florists and gift shops, a pharmacy, local newspaper offices, insurance offices and beauty salons, as well as the Bowling Green Post Office, Bowling Green Police Department, Bowling Green Fire Department and Bowling Green City Hall.
